The Story Starts.
Ben Laver, releases the first of a three part release inspired by the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows and an exploration of the multitude of human narratives.
“Day One” is an emotional instrumental EP focused on the organic sounds of and upright felt piano, composed and performed by Ben Laver. It is a homage to his background while also being a new and exciting step. The first single, “Keeper,” opens with a warm symphony of live cellos crescendoing then falling to a quiet piano line. The second single, “Sleep”, is a delicate composition that combines a peaceful melody and the organic sounds of the mallets hitting the strings."
